The Bright Shawl requires an initial non-refundable, non-transferable deposit at signing of your contract to secure your reservation. This deposit will be credited towards your Banquet Event once you have reached the food and beverage minimum required for the space. Fifty percent (50%) of the total cost is required 60 days prior to the scheduled event. The final guarantee on the number of guests attending and the remaining balance is due 5 business days prior to the event. Any additional expenses incurred the day of the event must be paid in full before departure from the Bright Shawl or be subject to late charges. All prices are subject to change unless a contract is signed and deposit is received.
Service Charge: There will be a 22% service charge added to all services, rentals and food and beverage purchases.
Sales Tax: The current applicable sales tax of 8.125% will be added to all taxable items

The Bright Shawl is owned and operated by the Junior League of San Antonio, Inc.. Net proceeds from sales and special events fund mission related programs and projects. Since 1925, the Bright Shawl has contributed significant funding to JLSA and is its longest running fundraiser.
